The Olabisi Onabanjo University has lost another one of its prominent pillars, Dr. Obasan of the faculty of Social and Management Science.

He died today, Friday, March 31st at Ijebu-Igbo. He was said to have died of "sudden hypertension".

One Com. Adediho disclosed that he saw him during the day.

It will be recalled that a prominent lecturer at Education Faculty, Prof Kayode Ajayi that died some weeks ago was buried just today, Friday, March 31st. This same day, Dr. Obasan left too.

As much as death is so cruel, they'll be greatly missed by all.

May they rest in peace.

Panic Among OOU Students

Panic Among OOU Students/ Indigene As Robbers Cart Away Female Student And Valuable Goods

*Tragedy found it place at Oke Odo Area of Ago Iwoye where Crime activities is getting out.*

A disastrous event was yet again recorded as Armed robbers broke into a Student dormitory. The robbery which took place at around 8:50pm as reported by an eyewitness.

The robbers took away all the student valuables: Laptop, Mobiles phone and other accessories but the most saddened one is the abduction of a female student in the dormitory.

A 100 Level Business Administration, Bankole Aminat Omotoke was reported to have been taken away by the armed robber some hours ago.

The victim who is dark and of medium height is yet to be found as Community Vigilante group and the police have been mobilized in the quest of searching for the missing student.

May Almighty God support them in finding the female student and to guide us from any evil act.

The Olabisi Onabanjo University community has loss yet another student, Adenayo Emmanuel Ayodeji.

Emmanuel, a  200 level English Education student, died this morning, Friday, at the Mini Campus health centre after sustaining a serious injury.

General Terry, as popular called by friends, has been described by his class rep, Odo Temitope as a very gentle and easy going student.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.
